Geotechnical Engineer
Jeremy has a wealth of experience in mineral resource assessment, rock and soil slope assessment and design, planning and design of quarrying operations including tips/lagoons, landfill development, and earthworks. He is expert in geotechnical analysis, including limit equilibrium, numerical and rockfall modelling. He supports Clients’ hazard appraisals and Geotechnical Assessments for hard rock, sand and gravel and clay operations.
Jeremy has been vice-chair of the QNJAC Geotechnical Committee, guiding UK quarrying Best Practice. Jeremy was a manager for a civil engineering materials company, gaining knowledge of drainage systems and materials, groundworks, and the use of geotextiles and geogrid materials in earthworks projects.
Over my 20 years at GWP I have had the privilege to work on wide-ranging projects across the UK and internationally. It is hugely rewarding to produce practicable and unique solutions for Clients’ challenges in conjunction with multi-discipline teams.
